Our mission at The Do Better Studio is to promote a collaborative approach to personal and community health through wellness promotion, corrective exercise, personal training, and educational programming. We are committed to supporting growth across the spectrum of health and wellness while fostering an inclusive, LGBTQ+ safe space where all clients, staff, and community members feel valued, respected, and safe.
Goals
The Do Better Studio was founded to provide the tools, plans, and encouragement you need to reach your optimal health potential. As personal trainers in Vancouver, Washington we work collaboratively with you to support both physical and mental health.
We aim to:
-
Offer services and programs that emphasize awareness, prevention, and positive behavior change.
-
Share current and accurate information on personal and community health issues.
-
Provide knowledge and skills to improve mobility, manage chronic pain, and support functional aging.
-
Empower clients living with hypermobility, POTS, and autoimmune disease through adaptable, supportive programming.
-
Help you take control of your health by recognizing that your behavior matters.
Philosophy
We believe that anything you can’t sustain for a lifetime is an unhealthy choice. The best nutrition plan is one you can turn into a lifestyle. The best workout program is one that makes you feel strong and capable in your own body. The best mental health practices are the ones that make you feel grounded and in control.
Physical and mental health are deeply connected. We know motivation can feel tough, but movement creates more energy, nourishment improves how your body feels, and consistent sleep helps you show up stronger every day. Reframing your self-talk—from seeing yourself as a victim to becoming the hero of your own story—puts you back in the driver’s seat of your life.
At The Do Better Studio, we challenge toxic gym culture and deconstruct fatphobia. We believe you have the opportunity to move your body in ways that feel good, fuel your days with nutrient-dense foods, set routines that support you, and choose media that uplifts your confidence, education, and drive. Here, every step you take is progress, and every body is worthy of care, respect, and strength.
