At The Do Better Studio, our team is here to support you every step of the way. Each instructor brings unique skills, lived experiences, and a shared commitment to making movement accessible, empowering, and fun.
We believe in creating a space where all bodies, all ages, and all genders feel welcome. Our team values connection, compassion, and encouragement over competition. You won’t find body talk, weighing, or measuring here — just people ready to meet you where you are and help you discover what your body can do.
Whether you’re brand new to fitness or looking for a community that aligns with your values, our team is here to guide you, cheer for you, and move alongside you. Together, we’re building a stronger, kinder community — one session at a time.
Brittany Kelly (she/her)
I’ve battled with my health—physically and mentally—for most of my life. Along the way, I had to reshape my mindset around nutrition, rebuild my relationship with myself, and reframe how I viewed exercise. Ten certifications later, I can say that the struggle gave me purpose: to equip myself so I can better serve others and help them find a path that feels supportive, not isolating
As a personal trainer in Vancouver, WA, I specialize in creating individualized, inclusive programs for people navigating hypermobility, POTS, autoimmune conditions, and chronic pain. My approach centers on how movement feels, not how it looks, and uses exercise as a tool to support both mental health and physical wellbeing. Together, we work to deconstruct fatphobia, push back against toxic gym culture, and build strength, mobility, and confidence in a way that honors your body’s needs.
The Do Better Studio is an LGBTQ+ safe space, welcoming people of all genders, backgrounds, and abilities. My passion is to create community where health is not about perfection, but about sustainable habits, self-compassion, and empowerment. If you’ve struggled with your health and want someone to walk alongside you, advocate for you, and celebrate every step of progress—you’re in the right place. If you’re interested in scheduling a complimentary session with Brittany, text (920) 904-5008 or email balancebybrittany@gmail.com with your available time and days for movement, goals, and a brief summary of experience and/or concerns!
Ian Merli (he/him)
Show up, work hard, repeat—that’s my philosophy. I love designing individualized programs that honor each client’s goals, needs, lived experiences, and personal interests. The best program is the one that feels good in your body, and the best nutrition approach is one that feels realistic, flexible, and sustainable. My role is to help you discover what works for you—so progress feels empowering, not overwhelming.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and am deeply committed to ongoing education in performance, rehabilitation, and therapeutic movement for pain management. I approach training with curiosity, respect, and an understanding that bodies—and people—are diverse, nuanced, and ever-changing.
As a parent, I understand firsthand the challenge of balancing care for others while still making space for your own health and well-being. I strive to create a training environment where all people—across genders, sexualities, body sizes, abilities, and identities—feel safe, respected, and supported.
My focus in personal training includes chronic pain management, mobility, and building confidence before and after life events such as surgery or injury. I’m especially passionate about functional aging—supporting people in staying strong, capable, and independent at every stage of life.
Whether your goals are strength, mobility, or easing discomfort, I’ll meet you where you are and walk alongside you—encouraging, challenging, and supporting you every step of the way. If you’re interested in scheduling a complimentary session with Ian, text (360) 798-4044 or email ijm2092@gmail.com with your available time and days for movement, goals, and a brief summary of experience and/or concerns!
Jacinta or J Krieg(she/her)
I’m a NASM-certified personal trainer who’s proudly neurodivergent and passionate about helping others feel empowered through exercise. I love lifting weights, but more than that, I love showing people that movement can be fun, supportive, and completely free from shame.
As part of The Do Better Studio team, I create inclusive, individualized programs that support people navigating hypermobility, autoimmune disease, chronic pain, and recovery after injuries. My approach focuses on mobility, strength, and functional aging so you can feel strong, capable, and confident in everyday life.
At The Do Better Studio, we’re an LGBTQ+ safe space that challenges toxic gym culture and helps deconstruct fatphobia. For me, training is also about supporting mental health and using movement as a way to process, heal, and build resilience.
Whatever your goals may be—strength, energy, balance, or simply finding joy in moving again—I’d love to connect and help you change the way you think about exercise. Let’s chat! If you’re interested in scheduling a complimentary session with Jacinta, text (513) 4109751 or email jayjaykrieg@gmail.com with your available time and days for movement, goals, and a brief summary of experience and/or concerns!
