Hi, I’m Jacinta (or J)! I’m a NASM-certified personal trainer who’s proudly neurodivergent and passionate about helping others feel empowered through exercise. I love lifting weights, but more than that, I love showing people that movement can be fun, supportive, and completely free from shame.

As part of The Do Better Studio team, I create inclusive, individualized programs that support people navigating hypermobility, autoimmune disease, chronic pain, and recovery after injuries. My approach focuses on mobility, strength, and functional aging so you can feel strong, capable, and confident in everyday life.

At The Do Better Studio, we’re an LGBTQ+ safe space that challenges toxic gym culture and helps deconstruct fatphobia. For me, training is also about supporting mental health and using movement as a way to process, heal, and build resilience.

Whatever your goals may be—strength, energy, balance, or simply finding joy in moving again—I’d love to connect and help you change the way you think about exercise. Let’s chat!

Testimonial:

I decided to try The Do Better Studio last January.  I wanted to get support to improve my overall health, strength, balance and agility as I go hurtling toward 70.  I lucked out and got Jacinta!  I work out 3 times per week and I’ve noticed a real change in my balance and strength. Jacinta fine tunes our sessions and makes sure that as I move through the session,  my form is good.  She pushes me and  always makes sure to keep the day’s routine interesting. I honestly look forward to working hard for those three hours.  Jacinta also doesn’t let me slide on thinking about my nutrition and connecting it to the work we do.   Great place, great trainer!
